Dont bother about the popcorn. It's a no no. We always tell them we have confectionary and they always ask about popcorn. Mike's mother sent him some in a package once and it was promptly removed. The candy and cookies sounds good.

My old babysitter lives in Vancouver and I remember when I was little she brought me back an Canadian Indian doll which I cherished.

Souvenir T.shirts if you know you're friends and relatives sizes are always a good gift or magnets, key-rings and of course food.

Thanks BB....you are always full of useful information. I am glad you told me before I bought some. And thanks everyone for your suggestions.

I usually take clothes home for grandkids, son and DIL, along with lollies, calenders and postcards for those that collect them.

My beloved hometown in NW NSW.
