It's hard to pick one. I think mine is Wattle.

I love the wattle too - I miss that - but I like seeing bottle brush here which reminds me of home - and then I like Kangaroo paw which you see here too and I have in my yard

There are so many beautiful Australian natives, I really miss them. And yes, so hard to pick just one. I love the Eucalyptus Caesia and any type of Grevillea. This one is the Grevillea Robyn Gordon.

Being a sandgroper originally I'd have to say kangaroo paw. I've got one growing in a pot at the moment. It's growing very slowly but maybe this summer it'll take off. Another one would be WA spider orchid.

We get kangaroo paws here at walmart every summer but they're smaller ones that they call joeys.

i have two of these in my back yard... only been in for about 6 months though.

mine would have to be either wattle (one in the back yard) or bottlebrush (three in the front yard)...

Don't want to knock the beautiful jacaranda but it is a native of South America originally. ;)

banksia, bottle brush.....grevillea......and the "black boy", cant remember the "real name". I would love to have some growing here.(actually, I would love to grow anything australian here, but it would have to be hardy enough to survive the hot summers and snowy winters).....and Ghost gum.

Don't think it is aussie but always reminds me of home since my grandmother used to have one when we were kids

Probably Waratahs. Love Banksia too. Can't stand wattle, it gives me hay fever.

Really too many to choose from. Like Gazza, I think the flannel flower is special. Around Los Angeles, there are lots of avenues of Western Red Flowering Gums, and they are spectacular in full bloom, so they get an honorable mention.

The wattle for me!

I have a Cootamundra Wattle (one of my favourite John Williamson songs) in pot it's about 10 months old and it's only 15 cm high. Hopefully it will take off this spring. I look forward to it being a feature of our street one day.
