Hi all,
Question for those who have travelled to and from the US and Australia more recently than I.

Before travelling back to the US did you have to fill out a form on-line called the ESTA? Is the fee expensive? I am a 10 year green card holder and will not be travelling under the visa wavier program so I think I do not have to submit the form.

As I have a valid Australian passport and a valid 10 year green card. Do I need anything else?
Thanks,

Their Words: For travel to, from, within or over the USA you must provide passenger information required by the US authorities under the Secure Flight and Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) programs.
The following information is mandatory:
• Each passenger's full name exactly as it appears on the passenger's travel document
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Passport Number
• Nationality
• Country of passport issue
• Alien Registration Number (where applicable)
• Destination address in the USA (not required for US citizens and permanent residents) and country of residence for flights arriving into the US
• Redress Number* (if applicable)

I travelled to Aus in Dec. I used my Aussie passport to entre Aus & my green card to get back into the US.

I'm a conditional green card holder.

Same as Sinn for me in September. All you need is your Aussie passport and US green card. You don't need any type of visa because you can legally be in either country. You'll still have to fill out those little cards before getting to Aust but it's no big deal. Have a great trip!
