Great movie!! Made me a little bit homesick...but made me smile at the same time :)

I watched Red dog on my way back from Aus. Great movie. Made me cry. Sitting in my seat dabbing at my eyes with a tissue hoping no one is noticing me.

Where did you watch Red Dog? I have looked around and I am unable to find a copy or find it through Netflix for download. It sounds like a wonderful story, and having a dog in it makes it my kind of movie:D

This movie is for more than just dog lovers...it is very heartwarming and inspirational. It makes you laugh and makes you cry. I like movies like that.

I just saw that Australia Post has Red Dog in store for 29.99.

For those of you who only cried a little or just choked up, what the heck? I bawled all the way through it. I too saw it on the plane. It was the flight home to wait for my Mum to die, so that may have added to my emotional state. However, based on previous experience, I suspect not :)

Find someone who can "obtain" a copy for you. That's the only way I know of.

Just got a copy of Red Dog in the mail from my Mum, I have yet to watch it but I've been told it's funny and sad.
I know I'll have a box of Kleenex handy when I'm watching it.
Love that the movie is based on a true story in my home State of Western Australia, I'm looking forward to watching it.
