Find Friends Near You - New!

Hi everyone,

We've added a new forum to MUO, to replace the Find People page we used to have. This is specifically for finding people who live close to you in America. This is important to many of us - especially new expats.

Later we're going to encourage a new way of doing MateFest, and the Find Friends forum will become particularly useful then. Primarily though, this is just a way for Aussies in America to find other Aussies living close by. There are more of us than you know. :)

Go ahead and add yourself to this forum - making sure to read the guidelines posted in there first. It will take a little while to populate, but there will come a time when it becomes incredibly useful.

I have an idea....can we get a forum topic in the Find Friends Near You were we can post pictures of MUO folks when they meet up? It would be fun to have a place where you can share your pictures when people do get together!

That's a great idea Gazza. It can be a group of people meeting up or just a couple of people. It's always nice to see pics of MUOers getting together. We can even include old MUO meetup pics.

As requested, this category now has a new sub-forum for posting pictures of Aussie expat get-togethers. :) Great idea!
