Toffees - from Pauline

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of vinegar

Method:

  1. Put sugar, water and vinegar into a pot, stir over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Increase heat until toffee is a golden colour (about 15 minutes)
  3. Pour into patty pans and let sit till hard.
