Neil's Easy Sausage Rolls - from Debbie

When in Oz Neil insisted we try the famous sausage rolls. When back home Neil made his own and the whole American family was pleased at the Aussie Offering at our Thanksgiving Day feast. It is a new family tradition now. These are better than the ones I had down under. Neil got this recipe from Peter Russell Clark, an Aussie tv chef.

Ingredients:

  • See Method.

Method:

  1. Use a can of Pilsbury crossaint pastry, ready made in cold section of the supermarket. Comes as triangles for crossaints but for this recipe keep 2 triangle together to form a 3 inch square shaped pastry.
  2. Brown 1 lb Jimmy Dean's Spicy Pork Sausage, 1/4 c finely diced onion and 1/4 c finely diced capsicum.
  3. Drain and spoon into pastry. Roll up and pinch to seal.
  4. Bake in 350 degree oven until brown.
