Ingredients:
- 1 cup crisco
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (If self raising flour used, omit baking powder and salt).

Method:
- Cream crisco, butter and sugar then add eggs, vanilla and dry ingredients to make a firm dough.
- To make cookies, roll dough thin and cut and bake at 350F on flat sheet pan until lightly brown around the edges (about 10 mins).
- To make teacakes make small balls and place on flat sheet pan and bake until lightly brown on the bottom (about 10 mins).
- These teacakes are just divine, lovely hot and cold and able to be frozen to eat later.
