Beef Curry - from Paula

Ingredients:

  • 2lb steak
  • 2 teaspoons of curry paste (patak's)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of curry powder
  • Large can of pineapple pieces
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 Large Tomato
  • 1/2 capsicum
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1 dessertspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of granulated garlic
  • 2 beef stock cubes mixed with a little water
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • Sultanas & coconut to taste

Method:

  1. Chop onion, tomato, Capsicum & potato.
  2. Mix together well with all other ingedients and place in casserole dish with lid and cook at moderate heat for 2 hour or low heat for 5 to 6 hours. (I find long and low heat the best).
  3. This is just as good if eaten the next day as the curry gives better flavour. Bon apetit.
