Ingredients:
- 2lbs of cubed beef
- 1 cup of thin sliced celery
- 2 cups of thin sliced carrots
- 1/4 cup of chopped green peppers
- 1 cup of diced onions
- 1/2 cup of barley
- 1/4 chopped parsley
- 2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp dried basil
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 3 beef bouillon cubes

Method:
- Layer in crockpot - vegetables and meat then barley and remaining ingredients.
- Cover with 5 cups of water. DO NOT STIR.
- Cook on low for 9-11 hours.
