- An Aussie in London - A resource for Australians in London written by an Aussie guy in London with a particularly quirky sense of humour. He quotes, "During the day I build web sites for finance companies and look out of the window a lot. By night I drink far too much and look into windows a lot. I like windows."
- Second Wive's Cafe - Some of the women who visit this website are second wives, and now and then various subjects come up on the message board to do with the trials and issues which arise from being a second wife. This website offers support for second wives and step-mothers, and is loaded with heaps of articles, information, and contact with others in the same situation.
- Hummingbird Hearts - An online community for transplanted ladies who have left their countries to join their partners or significant others with whom they have been in a long distance relationship.
- www.ExpatWomen.com - A free web site helping all expatriate women from all nationalities in any country in the world, share experiences and advice, find resources for living in a foreign country, with a monthly newsletter featuring the success story, mentor, reader story, book of the month, plus other interesting articles.
- Mike Goodall Saddlery - Mike and Judy are Australians in Canada, and they have a great business in Australian Saddlery. If you are in the market for such merchandise, please visit their website.
- Rocket - This Australian "news" site, is absolutely unable to approach ANY news seriously. They keep right up to date on all the latest news, both in Australia and world-wide, and then put their own "bent" to it. A good laugh.
- The Onion - Another "news" site with a completely satirical flavour. This was contributed by a "Mates" member, who advises not to visit this link if you are easily offended. I have to say though, that I find it a rare mix of satirical humour without offense.
- Slanguage - I've always had an ardent interest in the differences in local languages in the U.S., and the differences between other english-speaking countries. I found this great website, that lists heaps of different colloquialisms depending on where you are. Lots of fun.
- PinMart - I went to an Aussie get-together and the hostess was giving each guest a pint with the doubled Australian and American flags. I thought this was a great idea, so I looked for online stores that sell these types of pins. They also custom-make them.
- Patriotic Pin Store - More of the above.
- 'erb - Finally, here's the confirmation you've needed and the proof you can use to show that 'erb really IS spelled wrong! :)
